Animal Kingdom

Rez walked along the rainforest's main rivers to try and find some food while his small companion, Merk the spider money, leaped through the trees in search for some fruit.

Shera growled, irritated as she stalked an uneasy prey. Her claws dug into the soft soil and she just started to pounce.

Rez managed to find a grapefruit so he picked it and swung down to Merk and landed on his back as he showed his friend the food. Merk stopped and smelled the fruit. "Is it edible?"he asked as he eyed the fruit. "For me it is and these are really good....you should try some,"Rez said as he sat on his friends back and opened the fruit and started to eat it. Merk licked the inside of it and made a face as he hair stood on end at how sweet it was. "Nasty...."Merk said.

Licking her sharp teeth, Shera peered through the forest. Her ears picked up the sound of movement, the smell of possible prey, and also the smell of a pantaliger.

"Get off Rez so I can get my own food,"he said as he growled alil. "But I'm comfy up here and I'm not done eating yet,"Rez kept eating as he sat on his friends back eating his juicy find. Merk growled alil.

Shera bounded through the forest. She had pinpointed the source of the scent, and was less than a few feet away. Leaping out of the undergrowth, she met the other predator.

Merk turned quickly and growled at her teeth bared. Rez howled and screamed then hid behind a rock.

Shera sat, looking at them calmly. So these were the new comers.

Merk stayed in a defensive posision. Rez poked his head out from behind the rock and took a bite of fruit.

"Who are you?" Shera asked in a cool, unfeeling tone. Her eyes narrowed into slits.

"I don't need to tell you,"he said in harsh, deep, and powerful sounding tone.

Shera looked amused. She walked by the strange pantaliger.

He growled alil as he stood in front of his little friend.

Her tail touched his nose as she walked by, and she laughed at his non changing posture.

He bit down on her tail as he growled.

She spun around quickly and scratched his cheek, hissing and growling. "Whats your problem?" Shera rumbled.

"Go away..."he growled and protracted his claws as he turned to her.

"Why should I?" Shera hissed. This was part of her clan's territory.

"I don't want you near me,"he said as his fur stood up on his back.

"Now..whats wrong with me around?" She purred, untensely.

"I don't like other cats,"he said then turned to Rez. "Lets go,"he said as started walking past the female jaguar. Rez jumped up on his friends back and held onto his fur.

Shera glared at the rude creature, then hid in the cover of night to follow the pantaliger.

Merk kept walking.

Sheras eyes were wide in the shadows, her unusual green eyes shining in the dapples of moonlight.

Merk found a cave and decided to sleep there for tonight while Rez curled up next to him to keep warm.
